If you’re searching for the perfect venue for an intimate wedding or elopement in Seattle, The Corson Building offers a truly magical setting. As a Seattle elopement photographer, The Corson Building has been on my bucket list for a long time, and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. The Corson Building offers a unique blend of rustic charm, culinary excellence, and timeless beauty that creates an unforgettable backdrop for a small wedding or elopement.
Located in Seattle’s historic Georgetown neighborhood, The Corson Building has an ivy-covered exterior, brick patio, and lush garden spaces, which create a romantic backdrop ideal for intimate weddings and small elopements. Couples seeking a Seattle wedding venue with character, privacy, and European-inspired ambiance will find The Corson Building a dream location.
From a photography perspective, The Corson Building offers incredible natural light throughout the day. Morning ceremonies bathe in soft, gentle light, while golden hour portraits glow with warmth and intimacy. The cozy indoor spaces feature vintage touches, warm wood tones, and inviting textures that photograph beautifully, adding depth and richness to every shot. Not to mention, the entirety of the outdoor space is covered and has heaters to keep you comfortable year-round. So you can still have that outdoor experience while being fully protected even on cold rainy days.
I was actually surprised when I looked at the cost to rent the space, considering it is one of Seattle’s premier venues. In the offseason (October thru May) you can rent the space for up to 30 guests for only $1000. High season will run you up to about $2500 but even THAT is reasonable for a venue rental. There ARE food and beverage minimums to reach, but it honestly saves you the hassle of finding a caterer, bartender, linens, and other pricey rentals. You can find out more about their fees here.
The Corson Building is also renowned for its exceptional farm-to-table dining experience, making it one of Seattle’s top intimate wedding venues. Every detail, from the curated menu to the artful table settings, provides additional opportunities to capture the beauty and thoughtfulness of your celebration. As a Seattle elopement photographer, these intimate details help tell the full story of your day.
What makes The Corson Building particularly special is its ability to foster genuine connection. With its intimate capacity, couples can focus on celebrating with their closest family and friends, creating authentic moments that are a joy to photograph. The intimate scale allows for a relaxed, stress-free experience, where every detail is intentional and every moment feels personal.
If you’re planning an intimate wedding or elopement in Seattle, The Corson Building is a venue that offers unparalleled charm, elegance, and intimacy. As your Seattle elopement photographer, my goal is to capture not only the big moments but also the quiet, candid interactions that make your wedding day truly unforgettable.
