Enter: The Seattle Greenhouse

The Seattle Greenhouse has become one of my favorite and most frequented venues for intimate elopement and engagement shoots. This place really has it all; an teeny-tiny greenhouse that is adorned from floor to ceiling with plants (and a clawfoot bathtub!), then step outside to a lovely lawn scape with plenty of room to run around, utilize blooming bushes, or set up a trendy backdrop to your liking.

This venue is located on Beacon Hill in Seattle and is situated in the backyard of fellow artist and photographer Sommer-Rae, and she truly is quite the visionary. She has manifested this space for clients and creatives alike to come together and make magic happen.  

Though the interior space itself is small, it really packs a punch with variety. There are so many options inside and surrounding the greenhouse to get creative with framing and light. You can even set up a table inside and have some snacks and celebratory beverages!

Not only is the Seattle Greenhouse a wonderful place for your elopement or engagement session, but it’s also a really really gorgeous space for maternity shoots. There really isn’t a limit on what you can do here. I have done six shoots here now and each one has been vastly different from the last.
